There is an old saying and it goes like this...
"There's nothing in the
middle of the road but yellow stripes and dead armadillos."
( by James Hightower )
Many times people go through most of their life never
knowing what they
want ... and even if they had what they wanted it would not
make them
happy. They can never see what they have because they feel
they
don't have it! They are Unstable... Hello!
For years I missed the best friend I ever had ... it was my
very own
husband. I always looked at him as my husband... I never saw
him as my
friend or my covering, I had him but I felt I did not have
him. One day I
was in deep trouble. The person I thought was my friend
abandoned me and
Big Daddy was there to pick me up... I realized it took more
than words in
life to be a friend. I finally realized what I was missing
all that time.
He was there! Just like Jesus... He is there all the time
... waiting...
You see Big Daddy found me in the middle of the road ... on
the yellow line
just like the dead armadillo. Why do we go outside of our
coverings to
find help? I know now that it was the middle of the road,
double
mind at work (sin). You see I could not see the real from
the fake at the
time because I was in the middle of the road. Finally, I
made a decision
to get out of the middle of the road and stop being road
kill. People will
take you places ... it all sounds good but lots of times
they drop you in
the middle of the road ... road kill. Like what the serpent
in the garden
did to Adam and Eve... they found themselves in the middle
of the road...
(road kill). The serpent moves on in life (crawls off), but
you are
stuck... with the mess that is left.
If you feel like this today then turn it over to Jesus...
and If you need to
talk to someone or need prayer... I am here... 703-780-6511.
One of old songs goes like this... Come and go with me to my
Fathers house,
to my Fathers house, to my Fathers house... Come and go with
me to my
Fathers house where there is peace, peace sweet peace...
Jesus will be
there in my Fathers house, in my Fathers house, in my
Fathers house.
Whatever you need is in the Fathers House.
James 1
2- My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers
temptations;
3 - Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh
patience.
4 - But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be
perfect and
entire, wanting nothing.
5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth
to all men
liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 - But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is
like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 - For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing
of the Lord.
8 - A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
